What Is Pain?

Posted | 0 comments

Anna Christine Doehring , RHFP, CRP, had a lifelong interest in medicine, yet life had many other intentions. She came to Vancouver Island in 1989. Since 1995 she has been practicing Reflexology, JinShinDo®, CranioSacral®. and since 2007 Reconnective Healing®. This is seen as the leader in the growing field of Energy-Healthcare. She is a Reconnective Healing Foundational Practitioner™ and presently the only Certified Reconnection Practitioner™ on Vancouver Island. Because every symptom is like the tip of an iceberg, she writes mainly about the signs the body gives us that something is wrong and needs to be addressed.

The root cause of all pain is the inability of cells to communicate with each other in one specific area of our body. This can be caused for example by stress, not drinking enough water, accidents, injuries, repetitive movement, or wrong posture.

Pain is a sign that something is wrong and the body needs help. Suppressing it with pills is the wrong approach, is a downhill road and may lead to chronic pain. Perhaps even Opioids. with the risk of overdosing.

The best approach is to help the cells to communicate again with each other. The Chi/life-energy has to flow.  Sometimes a warm water bottle or an ice pack is enough. Because the increased blood flow helps to heal. There are many holistic healing modalities like Chiropractic, Massage, Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Reflexology, various forms of Energy Healing, and Reconnective Healing with its much higher healing frequencies. Sometimes natural creams that increase the blood flow might help. Doctors of Chinese Medicine are really knowledgeable.

There are many possibilities that I would use before taking pills. 18 years ago I learned in a seminar about ‘Blocks of Healing’ that medication is hindering the healing process. Most of the time it only  suppresses the symptom.

Sometimes it can happen that when the pain is suppressed with medication the muscles are able to relax and then the body can heal itself. I tried that after a car accident but after a while I stopped taking the pills and used only holistic/alternative modalities  like Massage, Chiropractic, Reflexology, Acupuncture, and Reconnective Healing. Now I am pain free.

In my opinion it is best to try the holistic route first. When nothing helps see your doctor.

Recently I heard in the radio from a doctor, specialised in helping people with chronic pain  He also uses in his office for example acupuncture to make the pain at least bearable.

I will explain this in detail in a workshop at my home office Tuesday, September 12th., from 7 – 9 pm. From 6 – 7 pm I will give FREE short sessions applying my Gift of Healing.  Please call because seating is limited.
