2019 VIUs Milner Gardens Christmas Magic

Outdoor Christmas light show for the whole family to enjoy! Over half a kilometre of lit and decorated trails.

Dec 6 – 8, 13 – 15, and 18 – 22., 2019. 5pm to 8:30pm, recommended last entry by 8pm. Visit early and often to enjoy the 11 evenings of ‘Magic’ and avoid larger crowds closer to Christmas.

Santa, live Christmas music from 6pm to 8pm, Teddy Bear Cottage, Storytelling, VIU Baking Students Gingerbread Houses, and 2 Gift Shops. Enjoy tea scones and desserts in Tea Room. Outdoor Refreshments Stand offers smokies, hot dogs, chili, baked potatoes, cookies and hot beverages. Sorry, we are unable to take Tea Room reservations and Full Afternoon High Tea is not available during Christmas season. Last seating in Tea Room is 8pm. No ATM on site.

This is a fundraising event in support of Milner Gardens & Woodland with special admission by suggested donations: $5/adult, $2.50/child, $12.00/family (2 adults and up to 3 children/youths under 19 yrs).

Onsite shuttle cart between Welcome Centre and Milner House is prioritized for those with accessibility/mobility needs who can move unassisted from wheelchair to open golf cart which accommodates foldable wheelchairs, walkers & strollers.

Washrooms, Milner House and Santa’s Den are mobility-friendly. 3D holiday specs for sale and lost and found items are at Welcome Centre. Wear weather-appropriate footwear; bring a flashlight, there are no paved trails.

Smoking of tobacco/e-cigarettes only permitted at Pool House Gift Shop cul-de-sac. Use of cannabis products prohibited.

No pets, guide and service dogs only.
