We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Island Woman’s photo contest is Alicia Kent. Alicia  will receive a $200 gift certificate to the fabulous Spa at The Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort & Spa in downtown Victoria. 

We felt that her beautiful photo captured the essence of summer on Vancouver Island on our senses.  The colours appealing to our eyes, the smell of the grasses, the flowers and the ocean, the sound of the breeze in the trees, plus sound of the foreshore.

Our 2  runners up were Ashley Marston and Marcella Andrews.

In Ashley’s photo we saw the timelessness of the sea, the foreshore and the sky, all of which are totally depended on renewal. What a gorgeous baby.

Marcella’s photo illustrates the serenity, the peace and the spiritually of a summer sunset.
