Why are so many people experiencing anxiety and panic attacks? What is it that our body wants to tell us? Something is affecting our spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health.
There has to be a reason. Recently I heard an explanation by Rabbi Jacobson, author of “Toward A Meaningful Life”, that made sense to me when I thought of people struggling with anxiety:
’’All fear, all anxiety, all stress comes really from a sense of being focussed on yourself and your feelings and whatever happens around you. People who are able to transcend it do not allow that situation to define them. People can suffer but not become a sufferer’’
The book “Power vs Force, The Hidden Determinants of Human Behaviour” by David R. Hawkins, MD, Ph.D, is very helpful in understanding one aspect of this rise of anxiety. Dr. Hawkins rates the emotions using the science of kinesiology. The scale goes from 1 – 1000, with emotions over 200 (courage) making us strong and those under 200 making us weak.
When we are at the level of Fear (100), we experience the emotion of anxiety. What causes fear? The root chakra might be blocked or it could also be caused by the media. Every picture we see gets stored in the brain and surfaces when triggered, which is why I have no TV.
All of our fears will most likely never happen. As soon as we start to worry about something, we become concerned with the future and do not live in the NOW. We are fearless when we live in the NOW; therefore, this is the best way to regain inner peace.
Over time, our thoughts create our reality. Thoughts are very powerful, giving us choice in our reactions. We are responsible for what is happening in our life. Many people do not like this responsibility, preferring to see themselves as victims with excuses as to why things happen to them.
We are NOT victims. I believe one cannot “be at the wrong place at the wrong time”. Even an accident could have been attracted by an emotional state that matches such an event. It is our choice how we react to it.
We live at the time of the Shift. What does this mean? It is about the next step in our evolution. On Dr. Hawkins’ scale, our consciousness has to rise to the level of unconditional love (500) where the wellbeing of others is our main concern.
It is interesting that nutrition has an effect on our emotions. Dr. Hawkins writes on page 212: ‘’20 years ago the book, ‘Orthomolecular Psychiatry’ stated that nutrition affects the chemical environment on the brain and bloodstream, influencing various behaviours, emotions, and mental disorders’’.
This explains why electromagnetic frequencies cause insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, dizziness, depression and many others problems. These wireless frequencies are continuously stressing our body and when our body is stressed, it uses up more nutrients.
What can we do? Excellent nutrition is helpful and there are also some holistic healing modalities. Reconnective Healing® balances us on an emotional, mental, spiritual and physical level, and chakras, meridians and aura may also help – whatever is needed most.
