Most of her treatment offerings originate from Ancient Egypt which has held a lifelong fascination for her.

You’ve just had a great holistic treatment and you are feeling restored and like a glorious puff of smoke. Now, you are back to work for a day, a week, two weeks and feeling that subtle creeping in of tension and stress. But, it’s not THAT bad. You can stand it a little longer and cash is still tight after the holidays. Don’t I know it. But can you really?

Studies show that daily massage can decrease stress by 24% – wouldn’t that be wonderful to have? However, even monthly massage can significantly decrease the high cortisol levels in the body that significantly contribute to weight gain, inflammation, thyroid disorders, insomnia and suppressed immunity. You may not feel the benefit of this right away, but your body sure does! Just like any exercise or dietary regime, it takes time and consistency to achieve continued results. The introduction of essential oils with massage enhances the results even further.

Many essential oils such as black spruce (Picea mariana), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), pink grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) and bergamot (Citrus bergamia) can be used to fortify, restore and replenish the body. Lavender is the super hero of essential oils as it is used to help assist any condition of the body and it also boosts the effects of the other essential oils in a blend. Adding bergamot or pink grapefruit, provides astringent and immuno-enhancing properties while black spruce soothes sore muscles and helps restore depleted adrenal gland function.

Feeling Good Body Massage Oil Recipe

In a 30 ml bottle add:
• 30 mls of sweet almond, coconut or apricot kernel oil
• 5 drops of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) essential oil
• 4 drops of black spruce (Picea mariana) essential oil
• 4 drops of pink grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) essential oil
• 3 drops of bergamot FCF or Bergapten free (Citrus bergamia) essential oil

Shake well before use!

Always do a skin patch test for skin sensitivities and never use citrus essential oils in direct sunlight, tanning beds or saunas.

Essential oils can be used while practicing meditation, yoga, regular exercise regimes and at your place of work to enhance memory and performance. So, keep your cup filled up and feel good!
