The Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) has developed a special cohort specifically designed for those in the Creative Industries!
Women’s Enterprise Centre is a Supporting Sponsor of TAP, and we’re delighted to share this special cohort, which will provide focused support for the following businesses:
- audiovisual;
- design (exhibit design, fashion design, artistic product design, public art design, urban design);
- music;
- performing arts;
- publishing (books and periodicals);
- visual arts;
- interactive digital media.
The creative industries are a strength of the Canadian economy, at the heart of our competitive advantage on the international stage.
We hope to see many women entrepreneurs participating in this program, and qualified clients can receive a bursary to cover 90% of the program cost!

Canada’s Trade Accelerator Program is designed to help SMEs TAP into their full export potential and has a proven track record of helping participants get results.

Just six months after graduating the program:
- On average, export revenue increased by 23%
- Participants forecast their export sales to grow 47% over the next 5 years
