I don’t know about you, but love is certainly in the air for me … Spring evokes a freshness, a newness, and reminds us that we are alive. Have you noticed all the buds popping on the trees? The flowers in the garden are just waiting to burst open, giving us the joy of their color and scent. There are certain elements that definitely give us joy on this earth, reminding us of life. They are, in no particular order, love, essential oils, happiness and sex.

Sex can be an expression of love; it can smell great and it definitely makes us happy! Interesting … that is all encompassing! If it does all these things, just imagine how important it is to have a healthy sex life. So what does that mean and how do you define healthy? It all begins with you! Are you currently satisfied with your physical body? It is so important to feel good in your own skin, no matter what size you are or physical condition you are in.

So let’s start with a spring cleaning of your self esteem! There are a few essential oils that can assist with building a healthy dose of self love … and then we can get to the part where you SHARE that love! Bergamot essential oil (Citrus bergamia) dispels depression, negative self worth, self judgment and criticism. Ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) builds joy and confidence, and releases anger. Sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) energizes, provides inspiration and is uplifting.

Self Esteem Body Blend

In a 30ml bottle, combine the following:

30 ml of carrier oil (sweet almond, coconut, apricot kernel)
4 drops of ylang ylang essential oil
5 drops of sweet orange essential oil
6 drops of bergamot essential oil

Shake well before applying. Citrus oils should not be applied to skin before exposure to sun, heat or saunas as they can cause sensitivity.

Now that you are feeling good about how good you look, let’s share that love!
